Kids has a new collab with none other than Ciara, singer, actress,dancer and above all, power woman. Keds just turned 100 an so this asks for a new breeze. I must say, I was and still am a big fan of Ciara. For this fall they designed “The Keds Champion Kikbaou” followed by a whole footwear collection. Inspiration for this collection were the seventies and some military influences. This translate in different prints, colors and materials such as chambray,check pattern, retro flower prints,olive and gray.

No need for me to tell you that summer is not over just yet… I still have my vacation coming up in about 10 days (thank god because it has been over a year since I went on holiday). And I am totally ready for it. This week is going to be hot hot hot… so I put together this easy outfit to enjoy the tropical temperatures that are coming our way. I got this airy dress from Primark en it is just perfect to wear even with high heels but I went for a much more comfortable look and combined with the all white Keds, which I love! EASY COOKING with Jeroen Meus

Hi girls (and boys of course),

Long time no see. I've been quite busy lately  looking for new adventures in life, baking cupcakes and of course preparing for a wedding and a baby (no, both not mine). But when I get the chance to do some cooking (at least if you can call it that in my case), I grab the opportunity. Jeroen Meus, one of my favorite chefs here in Belgium, designed a whole series of pots and pans together with Blokker. I tested this 20cm non-stick pan using it to bake some healthy banana pancakes. Just mix 1 banana and two eggs, bake these little pancakes, easy peasy!

The pan heats up super quick,is made out of stainless steel and  the grip is ovenproof and anti-slip so very easy to use for a clumsy girl like myself here.

Hope you like the results of my little banana pancakes stack I made.
It was delicious!

Feeling a little blue today? I just can't stop thinking about my B-E-A-utiful sunday afternoon.
On saturday I took a stop at the super cute Clouds of Fashion shop in Antwerp to pic up some lovely new clothes for spring, including this great blue check shirt with patches. I totally fell in love;-)

OH MY MONROE!

I have truly the best friends, because one of them decided to send me of to Monroe Beach at Knokke! "Just have a look, have some drinks, enjoy the sun and I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it" she said! Boy, do my friends know me.... Monroe beach is a great hide out on a sunny day. This lounge/beach bar had a superb design using timeless materials, it's like St Tropez in Belgium.  They have a very extended menu, including drinks (think rosé wine, sparkling wine, mojito, bos ice tea,...) andfood (great finger food such at chiabatta, melon with italian ham, tapenade,...). The staff is über friendly, the owner Debby is super charming and loves her job 101%! 

At Monroe beach, it's also possible to rent out a beach chair for the whole day so you can first get your tan on and have a dip in the sea. But when it's apero- time, Monroe beach comes to life with beats by the best dj's in town.

HAND CHEMISTRY - Yes it is!

It's been a while… And drizzling weather outside, means q-time inside! So I've decided to tell you guys finally something more about this fantastic brand called Hand Chemistry. The brand is developed by Deciem, a fairly young company, UK and US based, that owns about 10 brands. My favorite product is the intense youth complex. A hand cream with a delightsome smell and smooth as can be. It not only feels great, the intense your complex does great! It treats 8 signs of skin aging such as firmness, elasticity, brightness, texture, density, evenness, smoothness and hydration (most important quality for me because I inherited these pretty dry hands from my mom). To take care of all these skin aging signs, Hand Chemistry uses 19,95% of the biological GHK (Copper Peptide complex). Sounds perfect to me, smooth hands make me happy!








Another one of their fabulous products is the Hyaluronic Concentrate. Must admit, it looks a bit like my  soap-free hand sanitizer, but it feels a 100 times better.
