I have truly the best friends, because one of them decided to send me of to Monroe Beach at Knokke! "Just have a look, have some drinks, enjoy the sun and I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it" she said! Boy, do my friends know me.... Monroe beach is a great hide out on a sunny day. This lounge/beach bar had a superb design using timeless materials, it's like St Tropez in Belgium. They have a very extended menu, including drinks (think rosé wine, sparkling wine, mojito, bos ice tea,...) andfood (great finger food such at chiabatta, melon with italian ham, tapenade,...). The staff is über friendly, the owner Debby is super charming and loves her job 101%!
At Monroe beach, it's also possible to rent out a beach chair for the whole day so you can first get your tan on and have a dip in the sea. But when it's apero- time, Monroe beach comes to life with beats by the best dj's in town.
