OH MY MONROE!

I have truly the best friends, because one of them decided to send me of to Monroe Beach at Knokke! "Just have a look, have some drinks, enjoy the sun and I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it" she said! Boy, do my friends know me.... Monroe beach is a great hide out on a sunny day. This lounge/beach bar had a superb design using timeless materials, it's like St Tropez in Belgium.  They have a very extended menu, including drinks (think rosé wine, sparkling wine, mojito, bos ice tea,...) andfood (great finger food such at chiabatta, melon with italian ham, tapenade,...). The staff is über friendly, the owner Debby is super charming and loves her job 101%! 

At Monroe beach, it's also possible to rent out a beach chair for the whole day so you can first get your tan on and have a dip in the sea. But when it's apero- time, Monroe beach comes to life with beats by the best dj's in town.

HAND CHEMISTRY - Yes it is!

It's been a while… And drizzling weather outside, means q-time inside! So I've decided to tell you guys finally something more about this fantastic brand called Hand Chemistry. The brand is developed by Deciem, a fairly young company, UK and US based, that owns about 10 brands. My favorite product is the intense youth complex. A hand cream with a delightsome smell and smooth as can be. It not only feels great, the intense your complex does great! It treats 8 signs of skin aging such as firmness, elasticity, brightness, texture, density, evenness, smoothness and hydration (most important quality for me because I inherited these pretty dry hands from my mom). To take care of all these skin aging signs, Hand Chemistry uses 19,95% of the biological GHK (Copper Peptide complex). Sounds perfect to me, smooth hands make me happy!








Another one of their fabulous products is the Hyaluronic Concentrate. Must admit, it looks a bit like my  soap-free hand sanitizer, but it feels a 100 times better. Or should I say 400 times 'cause that's the amount of times the miracle ingredient Tremelle Fuciformis hydrates even more the hyaluronic acid (the product is a combo of these to ingredients).

I stepped into the clouds- CLOUDS OF FASHION

The Clouds of Fashion store has now been open for a couple of weeks but I still think fondly about the wonderful opening night. Very spacious, lovely colors and prints, great dressing rooms,… These are just a few things that make COF 2.0 even better than the first shop. Laurentine just moved her store to the Nationalestraat, the real fashion heart of Antwerp. This was a perfect step for this young entrepreneur because her shop at the Melkmarkt was getting rather small. Laurentine is not only a very bold, bubbly and brave young woman, she also has an impeccable sense of style.

At COF you can find, tops, skirt, dresses, printed pants, great hand bags, fine jewelry, and each month you can participate in  great workshops. April for example will be smoothie month , Marieke Wings will learn you how to make delicious, healthy smoothies.
